Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask us before their first order — lead times, eggless options, sizes, delivery, storage and payment. If yours isn't here, just ask.

How much notice do you need for a cake order in Jaipur?

Most celebration cakes need 24 hours' notice, because everything is baked to order rather than kept in stock. Photo-print cakes and custom themed cakes need 48 hours. Bento cakes, cupcakes and muffins can often be arranged the same day if you message us before 11 am.

Do you make eggless cakes?

Yes. Almost everything on our menu is available eggless at no extra cost, using a cultured-curd or condensed-milk base rather than a dry substitute — the texture stays soft. Our kitchen is 100% vegetarian. The only item that is egg-based by default is the rich plum cake, and even that can be made eggless on request.

Which areas of Jaipur do you deliver to?

We deliver across Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Sardar Patel Nagar, Bani Park, Raja Park, Malviya Nagar, C-Scheme, Shastri Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Civil Lines, Pratap Nagar, Jagatpura, Bapu Nagar, Gopalpura Bypass, Murlipura, Vidhyadhar Nagar and the surrounding areas. Delivery is arranged through a local rider and charged at actuals, usually ₹40–₹120 depending on distance. You are also welcome to collect from our kitchen in Mansarovar.

How do I place an order?

Send us a WhatsApp message on +91 92511 56113 with what you want, the flavour, the size and the date you need it. We confirm availability and price, you pay a 50% advance by UPI to lock the slot, and the balance is paid on delivery or collection.

Are you FSSAI registered?

Yes. We hold an FSSAI registration for a home-based food business and our kitchen follows the hygiene, storage and labelling requirements that come with it. Ingredient and allergen details for any item are available on request.

Can you make a cake for someone with a nut or gluten allergy?

We can make most cakes nut-free by swapping the praline or nut toppings, and we will tell you honestly when a flavour cannot be adapted. We are not a gluten-free kitchen, so we cannot guarantee the absence of traces of wheat. Please tell us about any allergy when you enquire rather than at delivery.

What sizes do your cakes come in, and how many people do they serve?

Celebration cakes are made in 500g and 1kg sizes as standard. A 500g cake cuts into 4–6 slices and a 1kg cake into 8–10. For larger gatherings we make 1.5kg and 2kg cakes, and two-tier cakes with a week's notice. Bento cakes are 350g and serve one or two people.

Do you take bulk or corporate orders?

Yes — cupcakes, muffins and dry-cake hampers are regular corporate orders for us. Bulk pricing starts at three boxes, and hampers of ten or more can carry custom label printing with your company name. Please allow a week for large orders, especially around Diwali and Christmas.

How should I store the cake once it arrives?

Anything with fresh cream or cream cheese should go straight into the fridge and be taken out about twenty minutes before cutting, so the sponge softens again. Dry cakes and muffins keep at room temperature in an airtight box — do not refrigerate them, it dries them out.

How long will the cake stay fresh?

Fresh-cream cakes are best on the day and good for up to three days refrigerated. Cupcakes keep two days, muffins three to four days, and dry cakes five to seven days at room temperature. The rich plum cake keeps a fortnight and improves for the first few days.

Can I send you a design or a reference photo?

Please do. Send the picture on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot recreate at home, and what it will cost. We would rather set expectations up front than hand over something that does not match the photo you were imagining.

Do you do same-day delivery?

Sometimes. Bento cakes, cupcakes and muffins can often go out the same day if you message before 11 am and a slot is free. Full celebration cakes almost never can, because the sponge needs to cool and set properly before it is layered.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) for the advance, and UPI or cash for the balance. A 50% advance confirms the slot; for large or corporate orders we raise a simple invoice.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before the delivery date and the advance is refunded in full. Inside 24 hours the ingredients have usually been bought and the baking started, so we retain the advance. We will always try to move a date rather than cancel outright.

Do you write messages on the cake?

Yes, at no extra charge. Send the exact wording, including spelling and any emoji. On a bento cake about six words fit comfortably; on a full cake we can fit a longer line or two.

Is this a licensed commercial kitchen or a home kitchen?

It is a home kitchen, registered with FSSAI as a home-based food business. That is the point — small batches, no preservatives, no bulk mixes, and one person who knows exactly what went into your cake.
